Spoils of War
During a battle, players may come across valuable items or lieutenants depending on their successes on the battlefield.
In melee skirmishes or campaigns, when an enemy officer is defeated they will sometimes drop a leather pouch or a treasure box. The leather pouches contain consumable items and the treasure boxes hold either a weapon or piece of armor. By picking these up, you can acquire the item if certain conditions are met. The items are awarded after the battle is over, when assessing battle results, and will appear in the Armory, Wardrobe, or a characters's personal storage (consumables only). Typically, if you lose a battle or it ends in a draw, you will not receive any of the spoils you acquired. Some exceptions in obtaining items from battles are listed below:
- Novice Battles – You will receive the spoils whether you win or lose.
- Mock Battles – You will not receive any weapons or gear.
- Showdowns – Regardless of victory or loss, you will receive one weapon and one piece of armor.
Quarters & Storage
Players will acquire a variety of items while they journey along the path of the warrior. Some items are kept on the player's character, and others are kept in the player's quarters.
A player’s quarters acts as both storage area and start zone. Players can choose to make their quarters more of a home by purchasing and rearranging furniture to their own tastes. Furniture can be obtained from the Antique Dealer in the Plaza, and can be rearranged from the "Storage" section of the quarters. Many furniture pieces also have additional functions. All the furniture that is available in your quarters by default serves a purpose.
New pieces of acquired armor will be sent here. By default, up to four pieces of armor can be stored here.
