Heavenly Strike Preview

Heavenly Strike will be the first large content update for DWO! This expansion will offer players a variety of new things within DWO and will change the world of DWO as you know it. So many great things to unveil:

Preview #11: Cursed Deck & Trident! And New Ranks![/size]

Two NEW Weapons!

- Cursed Deck (will be released with Heavenly Strike)

- Trident (will be released soon after)

New Higher Ranks!

As previously announced, we will be releasing new higher ranks with the patch Heavenly Strike!

- Front General: 10,000 Honor
- 4th Elite General: 15,000 Honor
- Perimeter General: 20,000 Honor
- Strategist General: 30,000 Honor
- Chariot General: 50,000 Honor
- Cavalry General: 70,000 Honor

Preview #10: Faction Coalition[/size]

Multiple factions can now join together in a coalition.

There is also an allied campaign system!
Through the Faction Coalition system, allied factions can work together to complete campaigns. Members of allied factions can move between each others cities through the Peach Nymph NPC

Preview #9: Diao Chan’s Plot!

This entirely new scenario will require ALL players to reincarnate! You will then have access to the new Scenario with FIVE DIFFERENT FACTIONS! Yup, count ‘em. 5!

Players will need to decide which faction to join when logging into the server once the update is downloaded and installed. And with 5 factions to choose from, all players should start making plans with their guilds and friends to see which will be their new home.

Preview #8: The Garden!

This is a totally new area of your quarters where your ride abled lieutenants will be. From your quarters, you will be able to access your Garden through a door near the exit to your house. In the Garden are the stables where your lieutenants that you can ride into battle can be found.

You'll notice there are 2 Elephant Lieutenants in the screenshots below. Stampy has not yet gained the Affinity level required to learn the Ride Ability. Dumbo, is in the garden and has already learned the Ride Ability. How does your Elephant Lieutenant learn the Riding Ability once the required Affinity Level has been reached? By feeding it a Submission Remedy of course!

Preview #6: In Game Tournament!

There will be a tournament that is completely run in game.

1. The tournament consists of 4 qualifying rounds and one final round.
2. After a total of four rounds, the top 8 teams go to the final round.
3. The final round consists of tournament battles. A total of 5 battles are held.
4. After the final round, participating teams receive awards according to the place they finish.

Preview #5: The Beautician!

You will see a New NPC in the Market named The Beautician!

1. Using AP players can now re-customize their character look
2. The Beautician will also offer new hair styles, faces and facial features
3. The Beautician can't change gender, body type, or voice.

Preview #4: New Battle Mode Kunlun Mountains

A new Battle Mode will be available inside Peach Garden that will allow players of all factions to join in a near infinite number of battles!

1. Players from all factions will be able to travel to Peach Garden and join in KunLun Mountains battles
2. A player must be Lt. Colonel or higher to travel to Tao Hua Yuan.
3. Players can form parties with players from all factions to participate in this battle mode.
4. Players will have a 1 hour time limit, but items can be obtained in battle to increase the time limit.
5. Players can choose to "Pause" their progress which will temporarily save their data and allow them to return to Peach Garden. When attempting to form a party to continue from the Pause point, all players must have paused at the same stage.
6. Players will be briefed on their mission and upon completion will continue to the next mission until the team loses or decides to Pause/quit (see below).

Preview #3: The Peach Garden Tao Hua Yuan

Tao Hua Yuan is a new Town that will be added in Heavenly Strike. Here's some information about this great new area

1. Players from all factions will be able to travel here and interact with one another as if they were on the same Force
2. A player must be Lt. Colonel or higher to travel to Tao Hua Yuan.
3. To accommodate new friends you'll meet in Peach Garden, your Friend List will grow as you Rank up!
4. Peach Nymphs will be located in each Force's Market. They will allow you to travel to Tao Hua Yuan
5. Standard NPCs will be present in Peach Garden (Blacksmith, Antiques Dealer, etc) however they will not give Quests.
6. Some Menus will be disabled while in Tao Hua Yuan
7. All players will have a House in Peach Garden. Some specific Furniture functions will be disabled (such as the use of the Shipping Desk)
8. Tao Hua Yuan will have three districts (shown below): West Square, Central Square, East Square

Preview #2: New Maps and New Resolutions!

Heavenly Strike will release two additional Maps*:

1. Forest
2. Wall

These Maps will be available for both Melee and Mock Battle!

Preview #1: Elephant Lieutenant!

Note- Once this content is functional on our Test Server, images will be replaced

A brand new Lieutenant will be made available to players when Heavenly Strike launches! This Elephant Lieutenant also introduces the Riding System!

1. Lieutenants will now be classified as either escort or ridable. All lieutenants currently in the game are considered escorts.
2. Players will be able to feed their Elephant a special item that will convert their escort lieutenant into a ridable
3. Players can feed their Elephant a special item to convert it back to an escort lieutenant.
4. Players can use the ridable lieutenants to travel in battle and around town.
5. As new lieutenants are released, they too will be ridable.

Also, here are answers to a few common questions that will surely be asked:

Q. When is Heavenly Strike being released?
A. Heavenly Strike will be released in the next content update! The specific release date has not been finalized because the content needs to be thoroughly tested. The tentative plan is to release is early March.

Q. When is the next Content Preview?
A. A new preview will be posted every Tuesday and Thursday for the next few weeks!
